I have had the privilege of serving as a state host for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Tour for approximately 20 years, and Sara has always done a great job pulling everything together – especially in 2017 when the weather wreaked havoc on the first day of the tour. With the airport shut down, late arrivals and a dinner at the Governor’s Mansion cancelled, Sara did a masterful job of working with each of our guests and juggling their ever-changing arrivals. She never lost her composure and handled what could have been a very bad situation in a cool, calm and collected manner, finding alternatives to make the best of a bad situation – and everything turned out beautifully. A major portion of the success we always enjoy with the Red Carpet Tour is due to the preparation and hard work that Sara puts into the event each year.
